This decoy peptide selectively inhibits eNOS phosphorylation at T495, counteracting enzyme uncoupling and mitochondrial mislocalization. It is applied in research on endothelial dysfunction, including in vivo and in vitro models of ventilator-induced lung injury, sepsis, and ischemia-reperfusion pathologies.
