Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Antibody

Anti-mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are commonly used for detecting, sorting, or purifying the intended target. Secondary antibodies offer added flexibility by enabling use with a variety of detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, or fluorescent labels). They can also increase assay sensitivity through signal amplification, since multiple secondary antibodies may bind to a single primary antibody. In most cases, secondary antibodies are produced by immunizing a host animal with a pooled population of immunoglobulins from the target species. They may then be further purified and modified-such as by immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, or label conjugation-to generate highly specific reagents.
