This Annexin V-FITC Apoptosis Detection Kit enables detection of apoptosis and membrane permeability. It uses the green fluorescent reagent Annexin V-FITC to label exposed phosphatidylserine on the surface of cultured cells. Cells with compromised membranes-a hallmark of late apoptosis or necrosis-are identified using the live/dead stain propidium iodide.
