Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin, anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Uricase [Bacillus species]. Cross reactivity against Uricase from other sources is unknown. |

Storage & Handling
−| Storage | Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 µL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 µL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. |

Biorbyt Goat anti Uricase antibody was used to detect purified Uricase under reducing and non-reducing conditions. Samples of ~1 and 0.25 ug of protein per lane were run by SDS-PAGE and reduced samples of purified Uricase contained 4% BME and were boiled for 5 minutes. Protein was transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with Biorbyt Goat anti Uricase. Primary antibody was detected with Biorbyt Dylight 649 conjugated Donkey anti Goat (1:10K 1.5 hr RT in orb348637).
Western Blot of Goat anti-Uricase Antibody (Bacillus Species) Biotin Conjugated. Lane 1: Uricase (Bacillus). Load: 50 ng per lane. Primary antibody: Goat anti-Uricase Antibody (Bacillus Species) Biotin Conjugated at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C. Secondary antibody: HRP streptavidin secondary antibody at 1:40000 for 30 min at RT. Block: orb348637 for 30 min at RT. Predicted/Observed size: 39 kDa, 39 kDa for Uricase.
