Bioactivity

In Vivo
In Sprague-Dawley male rats, injection of CHPG sodium salt (250 nM) reduces the cerebral lesion volume significantly.
In Vitro
After the treatment of SO2 derivatives, CHPG sodium salt (10-500 µM) increases the cell viability and decreases the release of LDH. CHPG sodium salt (0.5 mM) prevents SO2-induced apoptosis and increases the expression of TSG-6 through TSG-6/NF-κB pathway in BV2 cells.
