Rabbit polyclonal to CXCR5.C-X-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CXCR5) is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the Gproteincoupled receptor 1 family. CXCR5 is a cytokine receptor that binds to B-lymphocytechemoattractant (BLC). CXCR5 is involved in B-cell migration into B-cell follicles of spleen and Peyerpatches but not into those of mesenteric or peripheral lymph nodes. CXCR5 may have a regulatoryfunction in Burkitt lymphoma (BL) lymphomagenesis and/or B-cell differentiation.
