Perfluorotetradecanoic acid (Standard)

SKU: orb3140003

Description

Perfluorotetradecanoic acid (Standard) is the standard substance of Perfluorotetradecanoic acid, and it is applicable for quantitative analysis, quality control, and related research in biochemical experiments. Perfluorotetradecanoic acid (PFTeDA) is a PPARγ antagonist. It binds to the ligand-binding domain of human PPARγ, with an IC50 of 22.8 μM and a Kd of 157.8 μM. Perfluorotetradecanoic acid inhibits Leydig cell function by inducing oxidative stress and apoptosis (Apoptosis). Although it stimulates corticosterone biosynthesis, it inhibits aldosterone production.
