In Vivo

Intraperitoneal administration of SB 206553 hydrochloride (1-10 mg/kg) caused a dose-dependent increase in DA release from the accumbens and striatum in rats. SB 206553 hydrochloride (1-10mg/kg), only 10mg/kg, enhanced c-Fos expression in STN, striatum (except dorsomedial part), NAcc, inner surface nucleus, substantia nigra reticularis (SNr) and densa (SNc), and ventral tegmental area.
