Description

UTP-γ-S is a hydrolysis-resistant agonist of the P2Y2 receptor, used to study purinergic signaling. It induces inositol phosphate formation in vitro (EC50 = 240 nM in 1321N1 cells) and stimulates chloride secretion in cystic fibrosis epithelial models, while also prompting vasoconstriction in isolated human coronary arteries (EC50 = 25.1 µM).
